Director of Player Development - Brooks Graff
Coach Graff, from Janesville, was a two time All-State, three time All-Regional and three time All-Conference selection at Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay. In addition, he was a DI scholarship athlete at The Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he was a Team Captain. Coach Graff heads up all aspects of player development including our showcase program, running team hitting sessions and camps, anylzing our teams performances during games to work with coaches on opportunities for improvement, is a member of our Board of Directors and evaluation comittee at tryouts and he makes himself available for individual lessons by appointment at our facility. Coach - Lea Meulemans
Coach Meulemans, from Watertown, is a recent graduate of UW-Green Bay. She has a great deal of experience playing for and coaching youth travel softball. Lea played for the Kimberely Cardinals from the ages of 8 through 18, winning numerous State Championships as well as a National Championship wih her U14 team in Kentucky. Lea also played (4) years of high school softball for the Kimberly Papermakers. As a junior, her team won the Division I State Championship. After high school, Coach Meulemans committed her time to coaching youth sports. She has spent the last (5) summers coaching travel softball at the U8 and U10 levels.
President/Coach - Kyle Hans
Coach Hans, from Johnson Creek, was an All-conference middle infielder and Team Captain at Lakeside Lutheran High School and helped lead his team to the 1989 WISAA state tournament. Following his 1990 graduation, he was named the Honorary Team Captian for the 1991 high school team. He played his last competitive baseball game in 1992. The following year he volunteered as a youth coach in Lake Mills. Since then, he has coached at almost every level including youth, select, HS Varsity and post HS. In 2009, he turned down the opportunity to head coach an established Wisconsin select team to start the Thundercats. Since 2009, he has helped build the club from a single U9 boys team to where it is today.
Coach - James Wambach
Coach Wambach, from Sun Prairie, is entering his third season as a Thundercat coach. He has over 5 years of coaching experience and extensive playing background that includes a four year career at Division I University of Houston where he won the 1990 Southwest Conference batting title and captured the "Newcomer of the year" He also played 6 years of professional baseball including 4 years in the Chicago White Sox organization. Coach Wambach is a member of our evaluation comittee at tryouts and is an assistant coach with the club
Coach - Dave Olson
Coach Olson, from Sun Prairie, is entering his third season as a Thundercat coach. He has over (8) years of coaching experience and playing background that includes (7) years after high school in the Wisconsin Amatuer Leagues, the majority of which as a pitcher. Coach Olson has the highest winning percentage in club history, with (6) championships and (6) runner-up finishes in his first two years as a head coach with the club. In addition, Coach Olson is a member of our evaluation team at tryouts.
VP/Treasurer/Coach - Joe Freson
Coach Freson, from Lake Mills, is entering his 4th season with the club. He commits his time to working with our clubs catchers through weekly open sessions at our facility, serves as an assistant coach, is a member of our evaluation team at tryouts and handles the finacial aspects of the club.
